Quantitative determination of apoptosis in cell extracts, tissue culture media and serum.

Human MCF-7 breast carcinoma cells were exposed to 40 uM Cisplatin. M30-activity was measured in cell extracts and tissue culture media at the time points indicated. Note the strong intracellular M30-activity at 24 hours, and the subsequent increase in M30-activity in the medium at later time points.
